How cancellation and refund work

This page sets out your statutory cancellation rights under §§ 312g and 355 of the German Civil Code (BGB) and explains how the 48-Hour Refund window operates on top of those statutory rights. IPTV subscriptions are digital content under § 356 paragraph 5 BGB; once activated, the statutory 14-day cancellation right lapses. To make sure no customer is left with an IPTV service that does not work for technical reasons we cannot solve, IPTVBase.de offers an additional 48-Hour Refund window: if your subscription cannot be made to work within 48 hours of activation, we refund the full purchase price.

In practice
Order, install, test refund if it fails

In practice it works like this: you order an IPTV subscription, you receive your credentials within one to four hours, you install the app on your device and you try to play a channel. If it works on the first try, your subscription is running as ordered and there is nothing to refund. If it does not work missing channels, no picture, constant buffering or any other technical fault that cannot be resolved with our WhatsApp support within the first 48 hours send a short message to info@iptvbase.de with your order number and a request for a refund. We refund the full purchase price without further questions.

When the window applies and how to file

The 48-Hour Refund window applies only inside that time-frame; afterwards the regular conditions for digital content apply. It does not replace the statutory cancellation right for consumers; we grant it in addition because with IPTV services it is only after activation that the functional fitness of the service can be tested. The German section below is the legally binding wording, with the official model cancellation form that you can fill out and send to us by email to info@iptvbase.de or by post to the address in the imprint.
